TUCSON, AZ – Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment held a grand opening celebration for the newly remodeled Sportsbook & Bar at its Tucson location on Nogales Highway, just hours before the start of the college basketball finals. The event featured a free autograph signing session with former NFL players Chris Hale, Rodney Peete, and Christian Okoye, as well as promotional giveaways.
Following the soft opening of the Tucson sportsbook in February, the adjacent bar area underwent a month-long renovation into a full-scale sports bar. Guests can now enjoy classic American food and great drink specials while watching the games on big screen TVs and betting on favorite teams. Desert Diamond Rewards Card members recieve 50 percent off their orders. The sportsbook counter is open to accept bets from 10am to 10pm each day, and sports wagering digital kiosks are available 24/7. The Sportsbook & Bar is open to guests ages 21 and older, with no entry fee.
“Our new Sportsbook & Bar is the perfect place for fans to watch the games and place your bets,” said Treena Parvello, Director of Government & Public Relations for the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise. “As a locally operated sportsbook, we are proud of the personalized service we offer our guests and the new sports bar gives us even more opportunities to impress.”
Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment operates sportsbooks at its Tucson, Sahuarita, and West Valley properties. The Desert Diamond Sports mobile app is also available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
