WILLIAMSBURG, MI – Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos has announced the start of a sweeping hotel renovation at Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel featuring a new lobby design and complete update of all 137 guest rooms and suites that combines understated luxury with modern amenities and chic, Native American-accented interiors. The hotel renovation will be unveiled in mid-November.
Design and structural enhancements to the lobby will include three front desk portals, open-air lounge area, and a Creek Boutique offering branding merchandise, travel and convenience items.
Every surface in the hotel rooms will be redesigned with stylish functionality and the additions of microwaves and refrigerators to the list of amenities, along with all the hallways and corridors. The hotel is located steps from the casino’s 56,000 sq. ft. gaming floor, restaurants, six bars, gift shop, high limit room, player’s club, and Caesar’s Sportsbook.
The hotel will be closed during the expected 10-week renovation starting September 6, 2022, with guests directed to over 600 rooms at sister property Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, a five-minute shuttle ride away.
“We look forward to showcasing the new look to our guests,” said Johnny Barrientoz, General Manager of Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel. “We work hard to not only offer our guests the very best in all we do, but continuously strive to exceed their expectations. From the addition of soaker tubs in the suites to the luxury beds and linens, this renovation will continue to keep us at the forefront in Michigan gaming and accommodations.”
