TEMECULA, CA – Visitors who enjoy wine, chocolate, gourmet food and helping others, can attend the Pechanga Chocolate Decadence & Wine Festival on Saturday, Mar. 4.
The event offers festival goers hundreds of wine varieties, sweet and savory chocolate confections, gourmet food samples, live music and a silent auction, all while helping out a good cause. Proceeds from the Chocolate Decadence & Wine Festival benefit Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley.
VIP ticket holders receive early entry at 11:00am, which includes an upgraded souvenir wine glass, fruit and cheese and passed hors d’oeuvres. VIP pass holders can enjoy early entry allowing quality time to talk with winemakers, chefs and speak with representatives of Habitat for Humanity about their community efforts.
General admission runs from 1:00pm until 5:00pm and includes a souvenir wine glass, unlimited two-ounce samples of wine and spirits, gourmet dessert and cuisine samples from Pechanga’s acclaimed pastry and restaurant chefs, live music and a silent auction.
Each of Pechanga’s restaurants will offer gourmet chocolates and food representing each restaurant’s specialty. Local Temecula eateries including Cork Fire Kitchen at Temecula Creek Inn and wineries will also be present, bringing the best of the region together to support the local community. The idea behind this came from Pechanga Resort Casino’s executive chef, Andre Pinto.
“Visitors who have never been to Pechanga or Temecula before will be able to experience a wide array of our culinary offerings,” said Pinto. “We think they’re going to be impressed at the level of attention to detail and quality.”
Proceeds from the Chocolate Decadence & Wine Festival support Habitat For Humanity Inland Valley’s programs that provide housing needs and home repairs to senior citizens and those no longer able to do such work themselves. Pechanga’s contributions to Habitat For Humanity Inland Valley during the past decade have enabled 226 home repairs, helping more than 450 deserving individuals receive quality shelter for them and their families.
Participating wineries at the Pechanga Chocolate & Wine Festival include Robert Renzoni, Wilson Creek, Callaway, Maurice Carrie, Falkner Wineries, and more to be named.
