HIGHLAND, CA – Yaamava Resort & Casino in Southern California is hosting the first-ever Yaamava’ Fashion Daze, a two-day event celebrating the hottest stars of the fashion world. Taking place April 20-21, the event will include runway shows from celebrated and up-and-coming designers from around the world and an in-depth speaker panel.
Fashion Daze spotlights the beauty and enduring legacy of Native American culture, featuring Indigenous designers Jamie Okuma, Jennifer Younger, Section35 and Orlando Dugi. World-renowned fashion designers from London, New York and Los Angeles will also share the runway, including Custo Barcelona, Freak City LA, Cult of Individuality and Vira Be.
The event will also feature an insightful panel on Native American culture and its influence on the fashion and art worlds, led by Vogue magazine’s senior fashion writer and Native American, Christian Allaire, who will be joined by Native American designers and San Manuel tribal citizens.
Fashion Daze is a free event open to the public. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.
