REDDING, CA – Redding Rancheria Tribal Government Office has appointed Miranda Edwards as the first Senior Director
of Organizational Communications. This position will oversee public relations and special projects with focus on facilitating communication with the local community, Redding Rancheria employees, and Redding Rancheria tribal members. She has also served as a member of Redding Rancheria Tribal Council since 2021.
Edwards most recently worked as Special Projects Manager for the Redding Rancheria Tribal Government Office. In her role as Special Projects Manager, she worked with departments across the organization and was able to gain well-rounded skills by working on a variety of projects and events including the 2022 State of the Tribe event, which provides an extensive presentation and informational book regarding the hard work and accomplishments of the tribe over the previous few years.
“I am excited by the potential in this new position to connect with people both within the tribal community and reach out to educate other communities about tribal issues,” said Edwards. “Raising awareness about our concerns is paramount to our success as a sovereign nation and working together with other tribal nations benefits us all.”
