LAS VEGAS, NV – JCM Global (JCM) has established a collaborative partnership with Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) to bring ever-more effective and efficient cash processing solutions to count rooms in the gaming industry. The strategic alliance of JCM and G+D will result in additional market access and the opportunity to further optimize the end-to-end process in casinos – from drop to asset verification and through reconciliation and audit.
“JCM has a long and successful history in creating partnerships that benefit our customers,” said Dave Kubajak, JCM SVP of Sales, Marketing & Operations. “We are thrilled to announce this strategic alliance with G+D and to increase efficiencies in the count room using our combined 100-plus years of experience in automated banknote processing.”
“G+D has a significant presence in the casino vertical,” said Martin Bauer, VP of Commercial Markets at G+D. “Through the design and implementation of innovative and robust solutions, supported by a strong service organization, G+D has become the go-to partner for count room and cage solutions throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are excited to announce the strategic alliance with JCM.”
The immediate result of the collaboration is that JCM will showcase G+D’s BPS® C5 verification and sorting solution side-by-side with JCM’s ICB® (Intelligent Cash Box) system and ICB ASAP robotics solution, in its booth at the Global Gaming Expo G2E on October 9-12 in Las Vegas. Additionally, JCM has added an API to communicate between G+D machines and JCM’s Fuzion® system, which will further help streamline the count process. Beyond G2E, JCM and G+D will work together to develop intelligent drop management and count room technologies for their joint customers.
G+D’s BPS C5 is a compact cash processing system that is honored with the iF Design Award in the category “Product/Industry.” It processes up to 63,000 banknotes per hour and is suitable for all banknote substrates and casino tickets. It has a modular design, various operation modes, and up to 25 output stackers, supporting multiple and complex sorting requirements. Its sensor verifies and sorts banknotes quickly, precisely, and reliably. The system excels in detecting counterfeits (including composed banknotes) and sorts by predefined fitness criteria or central bank frameworks.
JCM’s award-winning ICB 3.0 drop management system can save operators hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. It provides real-time health monitoring data and predictive drop and maintenance scheduling to dramatically increase operational efficiency.
ICB ASAP is the first and only automated secure asset processing solution available in the market. It is a network of four industrial-grade robots and industry-standard automation equipment that operates in one secure automation unit. ICB ASAP accommodates JCM’s UBA® and iVizion® cash boxes and processes up to 240 cash boxes per hour.
