CORNING, CA – The Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, through the Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation, will host its fourth annual community food distribution event on Thursday, November 16. The foundation will be distributing food items to 1,500 local families ahead of the holiday season. Families will be able to receive various canned and packaged food items including gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, canned corn, stuffing, bread rolls, and cranberry sauce, in addition to either a turkey or chicken.
Families will be able to drive up and pick up the food items at the Links at Rolling Hills Casino and Resort’s parking lot from 5:00pm until supplies run out.
The community-focused food distribution event will be drive-thru only and is open to all. While no identification is required to receive the food items, the items will be limited to one food donation per family.
