ELK GROVE, CA – Sky River Casino recently announced the 2nd Annual Wreaths of Hope, an annual holiday program that will result in $15,000 being donated to support local charities. Creatively decorated 48” wreaths will be on display throughout Sky River beginning December 1. During the entire month, Sky River Rewards members have the chance to vote for their favorite wreaths while on property. Each of the 10 participating organizations will receive $1,000 just for participating, and the first place wreath winner will receive an additional $2,500, second place an additional $1,500, and third place an additional $1,000.
The 10 charities participating in the festive and fun 2nd Annual Wreaths of Hope include:
- Asian Resources Inc.
- Chicks in Crisis
- Cosumnes Firefighters Community Support Foundation
- Elk Grove Food Bank
- End of Watch Fund
- Native Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/Run
- Paws for a Purpose
- Project R.I.D.E.
- Strauss Festival of Elk Grove
- Wilton Rancheria Boys and Girls Club
“All year long, we are committed to giving back to the community in a variety of fun and meaningful ways,” said Michael J. Facenda, President of Sky River Casino. “This holiday program offers the opportunity to celebrate the season, provide much-needed donations that support local non-profits, and allow our guests to learn more about the amazing work of our charitable partners.”
Casino guests can vote in-person for their favorite wreaths through the month of December by swiping their Sky River Rewards card at any promotional kiosk. An awards ceremony and check presentation will take place on January 11, 2024.
