SULPHUR, OK – Art, music and First American culture will return to downtown Sulphur Saturday, April 13, as the Artesian Arts Festival gets underway at the Artesian Plaza. The 11th annual Artesian Arts Festival celebrates First American art and artists and will feature a diverse array of original art, including jewelry, sculpture, metalworking, beadwork, paintings, photography, textiles, basketry and pottery.
A juried art show and market, the 2024 Artesian Arts Festival is open to all federally recognized First American artists to participate. Tribal dance demonstrations, musical entertainment, family-friendly activities and a variety of food vendors is also planned. Open to the public at no charge, the Artesian Arts Festival welcomed more than 10,600 art patrons to downtown Sulphur last year.
