EUFAULA, OK – Leaders from the Muscogee Nation and the Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises held a ceremonial groundbreaking to commence construction on a $69.8 million capital investment to build a new, Lake Eufaula Casino and Hotel in Eufaula, OK. The 78,000 sq. ft. development features a 20,500 sq. ft. casino with 500 new, state-of-the art gaming machines and Player’s Club. Additionally, the development will further benefit regional tourism with a modern, three-story, 46-room hotel with three premier suites, concierge services, fitness center and a paved parking lot to accommodate 645 autos.
“This project is more than just a new business venture. It is a testament to our commitment to growing our economic development capacity, expanding cultural tourism, creating jobs and enhancing the quality of life for our citizens,” said Principal Chief David Hill. “The new Lake Eufaula Casino and Hotel will attract visitors, showcase the beauty of our historic land and the outstanding hospitality of our team. As this project begins to rise on our land, I believe it reflects the vision of our forefathers to see our people grow and prosper here.”
Plans for the Lake Eufaula Casino and Hotel also include a new, full-service, 90-seat restaurant and a 25-seat private dining room. The expansive Lakeside Bar and Grill will serve guests, lake visitors and local citizens year-round. Additional hospitality and service options include Mazzio’s Go, a grab-and-go food counter for guests.
The property will boast two entrances, one directly into the casino and a separate entrance into the hotel lobby. The design includes a spacious walk-through connecting the hotel lobby to the casino and restaurant.
“The Lake Eufaula Casino and Hotel represents progress and innovation as we continue to expand and invest in the communities located within the Muscogee Nation,” said Second Chief Del Beaver. “This new development provides a state-of-the-art space where we can share our Muscogee Nation heritage with visitors, while also generating a positive economic impact for the greater Eufaula region.”
Construction begins this month and is expected to be complete in approximately 17 months. As part of this transformation, the current Muscogee Creek Nation Casino Eufaula will close, and the 60 full-time employees will transfer to the new Lake Eufaula Casino and Hotel when it opens in November 2025. Additionally, the project will add 50 new, full-time positions for a total of 110 local employees living in the Lake Eufaula region.
“The new, Lake Eufaula Casino and Hotel is a $69.8 million capital investment to build a top-tier destination experience for gaming, entertainment and hospitality,” said Pat Crofts, CEO of Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises. “This project is a testament to the dedication and long-term vision of our leaders at the Muscogee Nation and Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises for continued investment and expansion at our 10 locations throughout Northeast Oklahoma. This property will serve as a beacon for vacation travelers to Lake Eufaula, as well as locals seeking the escapism and a fun atmosphere to spend their weekdays, weeknights and weekends year-round.”

We believe this development will become a cornerstone of the community, attracting visitors and fostering a sense of pride among residents.”
