UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan Sun has been recognized with a variety of 2024 awards including accolades at the 2024 CT Insider “Best of Connecticut Awards,” that include best music venue, best fine dining, and best casino activity. Mohegan Sun Arena was also again recognized by the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards for being the top arena among all casino destinations. Additionally, Mohegan Sun has been named to Tripadvisor’s highly accredited Traveler’s Choice List for 2024, an honor that less than 10 percent of destinations worldwide receive.
CT Insider’s “Best of Connecticut Awards” is an annual contest that celebrates the top local business, attractions and services throughout the state. Beginning in early January, the contest engages a wide audience through a simple voting process, allowing Connecticut locals to recognize their favorite attractions and businesses. Voters pick from over 900 businesses among a set of 11 categories that includes highlights such as activities, arts and culture, casino, food and drink, travel, people and media, and shopping. For “Best Casino Performance Venue,” as well as “Best Music Venue – Large,” Mohegan Sun Arena took home the top spot. A #1 win also went to Bobby’s Burger Palace at Mohegan Sun for the category “Best Casino Casual Dining.”

The 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena also received first place awards from CT Insider for both “Best Music Venue – Large” and “Best Casino Performance Venue.” Mohegan Sun Arena has also taken home its eighth “Casino of The Year –Arena” award by the ACM. This award is voted on by ACM membership which includes professionals from various segments of the music industry including artists, musicians, producers, talent buyers and promoters. As one of the busiest and popular venues in the U.S., Mohegan Sun Arena hosts top tier events and performances that draw crowds from across the country.
Several of Mohegan Sun’s nightlife venues and dining attractions were also finalists in the CT Insider 2024 “Best of Connecticut” awards in the casino category. This included Crafty Stir for “Best Casual Dining,” and TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge, BALLO Italian Restaurant, and Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse for “Best Casino Fine Dining.” Comix Roadhouse was also a finalist for “Best Casino Performance Venue,” and Mandara Spa was in the running for “Best Casino Spas.”
Mohegan Sun has also been selected as a “Tripadvisor Travelers Choice” recipient, an honor given to the world’s most popular attractions based on reviews and ratings collected over a 12-month span. This places Mohegan Sun in the top 10 percent of listings worldwide on Tripadvisor.
