CHOCTAW, MS – In March of 2024, Silver Star, Golden Moon, and Bok Homa Casinos (part of Pearl River Resort owned by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians) began a program at their cash out Fabi kiosks that allowed for guests to donate loose change from winnings to one of the three tribal programs – Choctaw Elderly Program, MBCI Boys & Girls Club and the Choctaw Veterans Program. Throughout the months of March to June, guests’ choice to donate their extra change amounted to a total of $69,540 in donations.
“Pearl River Resort’s decision to utilize the Fabi kiosk donation program and return the donations made by our guests to these three tribal programs is truly amazing,” said Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben. “A donation like this can make a big difference to a program. It allows them to assist their program participants with various operational needs. I know each of these programs is grateful for this donation and will put this additional income to great use for our youth, elderly, and veterans.”
When guests “cash out” at a gaming machine, they receive a winnings ticket. They can take this ticket to a Fabi kiosk to redeem for cash. Instead of receiving the loose change, they now have the option to donate it. Kiosks at all three properties have this donation option from a total of 26 kiosks.

Over the four months the donation option has been available, the total at each property donated is: $30,579 (Silver Star); $22,496 (Golden Moon); and $16,465 (Bok Homa). The first donation received by each program is: $23,894 (MBCI Boys & Girls Club); $23,258 (Choctaw Elderly Program); and $22,388 (Choctaw Veterans Program). Moving forward, if donations stay consistent, each program should expect to receive on average a monthly donation of $5,795.
