FRESNO, CA – The Chukchansi Economic Development Authority (CEDA), the business arm of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians, has awarded $5,000 to Minarets Foundation to support the Minarets High School football program. In addition to the $5,000 sponsorship, Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is also donating a $700 value gift basket for a silent auction benefiting the football team. The contributions reflect the tribe’s ongoing commitment to empowering local youth and enhancing community engagement through sports.
“We are proud to support the youth in our community, knowing that nurturing their growth today builds a stronger future,” said Tracey Hopkins, Chairwoman of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians. “We look forward to seeing this program continue to succeed and flourish. Go Mustangs!”
“It is with support from community partners that we can close funding gaps for the 2024-2025 football season,” said Shannon Pulliam, Head Varsity Football Coach at Minarets High School. “All proceeds will help with the necessary support, including nutrition, safety, and equipment gear.”
