FORT HALL, ID – The Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel will host its annual Soup 4 Tots charity soup competition on November 12 starting at 5:30pm. The event will bring together local chefs – both professional and amateur – for a good cause. Hosted at the Chiefs Event Center, located inside the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel, Soup 4 Tots invites the community to enjoy soups and support local families in need, all while witnessing a contest for the title of “Best Soup” and a cash prize.
This year’s event will feature talent from local kitchens and home cooks alike, competing as they showcase their best soup creations. Attendees can sample a variety of soups that range from traditional favorites to bold new recipes. Entry per person to the event is $10 or a donation of a new toy or winter clothing item. A raffle will also be hosted throughout the event for swag and baskets from the host and competitors. All donations and proceeds will directly benefit local children in need this holiday season.
“Our goal with Soup 4 Tots is to create an event that not only showcases the talents of our local chefs, but also makes a significant impact on the community,” said Jerome Edmo, Executive Chef of the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. “We are proud to bring together great food, friendly competition, and the spirit of giving, all in one memorable day.”
A panel of judges will select the top soups, while event attendees will also have a say in awarding the coveted “People’s Choice” award.
