Mohegan Sun To Host Annual Sun Wine & Food Fest

UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan Sun’s largest annual festival, Sun Wine & Food Fest, will run from Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025 through Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025. Guests will be able to enjoy and experience award-winning wine and spirits, top chefs, and other food enthusiasts. The weekend features the return of Sun Patio Ice Bar Experience, Grand Tasting, Vintage Cru, and Celebrity Chef After Party, along with new experiences such as CT Spotlight Series, Beam Suntory Presents: Asian Market, and a Sun Wine & Food Fest Special Edition of Shuffle to Showdown.

Thursday, Jan. 23: Sun Wine & Food Fest begins on Thursday, January 23rd with the CT Spotlight Series Featuring Two Roads from 8:00pm to 9:30pm in an intimate setting. At this event, attendees will discover Two Roads Brewing Company’s unique selection of brews and sample their classics and special projects. Also, attendees can hear more about their process of creating brews and taste food paired and prepared by a local chef.

Friday, Jan. 24: Day two begins in the Earth Ballroom with Beam Suntory Presents: Asian Market from 6:00pm to 9:00pm where guests can immerse themselves in Asian cuisine and watch as renowned celebrity chef and Food Network star, Esther Choi, teams up with fellow chefs to cook up street food-style fare made with masterful techniques and bold flavors. Guests can get an early taste of the wines and food featured at the Grand Tasting at the Earth Expo & Convention Center from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Then, from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, guests can enjoy premium cocktails at the Sun Patio Ice Bar Experience. Those new to blackjack or wanting to sharpen their skills can join the Shuffle to Showdown at novelle from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, where expert instructors will guide guests with “fun money” for a chance to win prizes. At the Clay Pipe Cigar Bar from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the Spirits & Cigars event by Mohegan Sun’s Barrel Select Program will feature curated pairings of spirits and cigars. Lastly, from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm, fans of local wines can visit the CT Spotlight with Preston Ridge Vineyard, sampling selections with bites from a local chef.

Saturday, Jan. 25: On day three of the festival, guests can enjoy a lineup of unique food and drink experiences. The day starts with the Grand Tasting from noon to 5:00 pm at the Earth Expo & Convention Center, where attendees can sample over 1,000 varieties of wine, beer, and spirits, try dishes from top chefs, and watch live cooking demonstrations. From 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Earth Ballroom, Vintage Cru will offer a tasting of rare and acclaimed wines. At the Clay Pipe Cigar Bar from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, guests can explore The Macallan’s renowned whiskies with insights from a Macallan specialist. The Celebrity Chef Dine Around returns from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm in the Uncas Ballroom, featuring dishes by over 20 top chefs paired with wine, beer, or spirits. To wrap up the night, the celebration continues at Avalon Nightclub from 10:30 pm to 2:00 am with the Celebrity Chef After Party, sponsored by J Vineyards.

Sunday, Jan. 26: To cap off the festival, guests can experience a culinary experience with a specially curated menu and signature cocktails at three different locations across property.
