Steven Stewart Named Chief Information Officer for Poarch Creek Indians

ATMORE, AL – The Poarch Creek Indians have appointed Steven Stewart to the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the tribal government. Stewart brings a wealth of experience in IT leadership along with a deep commitment to public service, making him uniquely qualified to lead the tribe’s technology initiatives and build upon the department’s success.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Stewart served with distinction for 15 years and holds both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Western Governors University. For the past 10 years, he served as CIO for the Muckleshoot Tribe in Seattle, WA. Prior to that, he served as Director of IT at Yakama Legends Casino in Washington State and as IT Manager at Spirit Mountain Casino in Oregon.
