CABAZON, CA – The Morongo Casino Resort & Spa celebrated its 20th anniversary on Dec. 10 with fireworks, limited-edition commemorative gaming chips and celebrity appearances as it kicked off a year-long party.

“Our 20th anniversary is a significant milestone, and we’ve pulled out all the stops to celebrate with our loyal guests over the next 12 months,” said Morongo Tribal Chairman Charles Martin. “Over the past two decades, the Morongo casino has ignited an economic renaissance for our tribe and the surrounding community as we created thousands of local jobs, and billions of dollars in economic activity for the region.”

As part of the celebration, guests at the AAA-Four Diamond Morongo Casino Resort & Spa enjoyed special performances by Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, DJ Kid Jay, and R&B artist Eevaan Tre, as well as a special celebrity DJ appearance by Pete Wentz of Fallout Boy. Other special guests included actors/comedians Cedric the Entertainer and Jonathan Mangum, and NFL great Christian Okoye. The celebration included surprises and experiences across the casino, such as living sculptures, belly dancers, jugglers, stilt walkers, showgirl greeters, magicians, cake hats and candy sculptures.

“Our success is rooted in our core commitment to consistently exceeding the expectations of our guests, and we are profoundly grateful for their continued support,” said Martin, adding that special anniversary promotions and entertainment are planned throughout 2025 to mark the milestone.

As part of the celebration, Morongo commissioned three commemorative chips recognizing the casino’s 20th anniversary milestone. Set in denominations of $5, $25 and $100, the collector chips are emblazoned with an image of the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa rising in the night sky against a flourish of colorful fireworks.

“Our special collector chips are absolutely gorgeous and are just one more example of how we wanted to commemorate 20 years of providing our guests with unforgettable moments,” said Richard St. Jean, Morongo Chief Operating Officer. “We plan to celebrate our guests with world-class entertainment, amazing giveaways, dining specials, and tons of exciting surprises throughout 2025.”

The Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is owned and operated by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. The 27-story resort features top-rated restaurants, swimming pool with private cabanas, world-class spa, live entertainment, and nearby, the 36-hole championship Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon.
