SPOKANE, WA – Rice Fergus Miller (RFM), an employee-owned architecture, interior design, and planning firm, has opened its new Spokane office. A grand opening celebration was held, bringing together 140 clients, partners, community members, and supporters to commemorate the significant milestone.
The evening featured engaging displays of RFM’s recent projects, giving attendees an in-depth look at the firm’s innovative approach to design. Guests enjoyed delicious catering from Indigenous Eats, along with a variety of local beverages, while mingling with RFM’s team of designers and architects. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was officiated by members of Greater Spokane, Inc.
“We are humbled by the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the Spokane community,” said Greg Belding, Senior Principal at RFM. “It was a joy to connect with so many incredible people and share our vision for creating spaces that enhance lives and reflect the unique spirit of the region.”
RFM’s new Spokane office, located at 1011 W 1st Street, Suite B, will serve as a regional hub for the firm, with team members representing all the firm’s areas of design, from housing, healthcare, and hospitality to fire and emergency services, education and community projects. The current team of six staff members working from this office includes project managers, architects, and interior designers.
As Washington’s only Certified B Corp architecture firm, RFM continues to uphold its mission of using business as a force for good, fostering sustainability, collaboration, and community impact through its projects. The Spokane office will embrace this ethos through the projects the team engages with, and by welcoming the community into the office for special events such as art walk open houses.
