WORLEY, ID – Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel has appointed three new directors across various departments at the casino resort.
Teresa Gavin, Advertising Director, has extensive experience in marketing and advertising, spanning over two decades, with roles ranging from Account Executive to Director of Marketing. Her career has been shaped by leadership roles at organizations such as Banner Marketing, Great Floors, and Blue541, where she honed her expertise in driving brand awareness, creating innovative campaigns, and implementing successful marketing strategies.
Her vision for the advertising department at Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel is to elevate brand visibility, innovate marketing campaigns that resonate with both local and broader audiences, and position the casino as a premier entertainment destination. Since taking the department mantle, Gavin has been integrating data-driven strategies and digital tools to enhance customer engagement and retention.
“Joining the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel team allows me to return to my roots, leveraging my experience to contribute to a respected local institution,” said Gavin. “I’m inspired by the opportunity to create impactful campaigns that align with tribal and casino values and goals.”
Prior to his recent promotion, newly appointed Hospitality Director, Tucker Louie-McGee, held several positions at the casino including Marketing Assistant, Casino Host, Promotions Manager, and Facilities Administration Manager.
“I am always striving to better myself, as well as provide for my family, my tribe, and the community,” said Louie-McGee. “I get my inspiration and drive from my wife and son – soon to be two sons. I have a positive outlook on every situation and am an open-minded leader who has a great team to work with.”
Louie-McGee has been proactive since becoming Hospitality Director, introducing Aescape to the hotel’s Spa Ssakwa’q’n, an AI-powered, fully automated massage experience. The first of its kind in the Northwest, Aescape offers a personalized and private alternative to traditional massages, redefining the way guests relax and rejuvenate. He’s also overseeing the installation of a new hotel software system, as well as self-check-in/check-out kiosks for the hotel.
“It’s an exciting time at Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel,” said Louie-McGee. “Things are always changing in the fast-moving environment that is the hospitality business.”
The new Director of Golf, Don Rasmussen, enters the 2025 golf season at award-winning Circling Raven Golf Club with the goal of making it the premier golf experience in the Northwest and beyond. “We get players from all over the country and it’s my hope that, when they go home, they can’t help but tell others about their incredible golf experience here,” said Rasmussen.
Recognized as a Golf Digest “Best Instructor” for Washington State from 2021 to 2024, Rasmussen was also named San Diego Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year in 2015. He has given over 60,000 golf lessons over his 35 years as a pro, and served as an NCAA Division I Head Golf Coach for both men’s and women’s golf programs for several years.
Rasmussen was previously the Director of Instruction at Circling Raven. “From the moment [guests] drive down our driveway, they need to know how much they matter to us,” said Rasmussen. “It’s not enough just to have an amazing golf course, we have to ensure they feel special when they visit Circling Raven.”
