TOPPENISH, WA – Legends Casino Hotel has celebrated the grand opening of its newest amenity, Sage Spa. The spa offers traditional spa services that are paired with an exclusive drink and food menu, while the infrared wellness pod and the aqua wellness pod therapies are offered for the first time at a resort in the Northwest.
“Our team of directors worked to create a rejuvenating experience for our guests through Sage Spa,” said Letisha Peterson, General Manager. “This addition to our resort amenities complements the dining, events, concerts, and gaming options guests from around the Northwest visit us to enjoy.”
In preparation for the grand opening, the Yakama Nation hosted a private blessing and internal ribbon-cutting ceremony in January with the public grand opening taking place on February 27.
Both wellness pods incorporate heat (dry or wet), infrared lights, and chromatherapy. Chromatherapy and infrared lights are understood to assist with stimulating cellular activity. By allowing the guest to select from several therapies interactively, the pods create an opportunity to reduce stress and anxiety, promote relaxation, provide pain relief, and detoxify.
“The cocoon-like pods are incorporated in programs for top athletes, and we were excited to be able to bring this health and wellness benefit directly to our guests through Sage Spa,” said Peterson.
The spa also features a cedar sauna, steam sauna, soaking rituals, body treatments, and massage therapy with manicures, pedicures, and hair removal available as well. Sage Spa also offers an exclusive food and beverage menu that includes specialty drinks and gourmet sandwiches.
