Marksville, LA – The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana and Paragon Casino Resort recently held the grand opening and ribbon cutting of The Draft Room, a premier sports bar and restaurant located inside of Paragon Casino Resort. The venue is now open to the public. “We do not believe that there is anything else in Louisiana that can mirror this right now,” said General Manager of Paragon Casino Resort, Jody Madigan. “Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Draft Room is now here and ready for our patrons to enjoy. From unmatched audio visuals to our oyster bar and more, we’re excited to offer these fun amenities.”
Designed by R2Architects, LLC, this new bar serves sports fans with 600 square feet of wall-to-wall sports on over 100 screens, 20 new slot machines, three VIP sections and live sports all day long.
The Draft Room offers brick oven pizza, burgers and grilled oysters, making a perfect game day headquarters. It also offers more than 80 beer options in bottles and on tap, including the largest selection of local and regional craft beers in the area.
“While it is our hope that The Draft Room will become a special place for locals and visitors alike to gather, make memories and enjoy this new space, this opening signifies so much more,” said Marshall Ray Sampson, Vice-Chairman of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, the tribe that owns and operates Paragon. “This grand opening represents the resilience of our community and hard work of our Paragon staff to succeed despite the impacts of COVID-19 on the service industry. The opening of The Draft Room marks a new chapter for Paragon.”
