ADG Issues Event Wagering License to San Carlos Apache Gaming

SAN CARLOS, AZ – The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has issued a conditional event wagering operator license to the San Carlos Apache Gaming Enterprise (SCAGE) and Plannatech that will allow mobile and online betting for 70 sports and events.

The SCAGE will hold the operator license and Plannatech US will be the SCAGE’s license designee. The five-year license was issued Aug. 2. Plannatech is replacing WynnBET as the SCAGE’s mobile wagering partner, as WynnBET shut down its Arizona gaming operations in August 2023.

The strategic alliance marks a significant milestone for both organizations as they join forces to enhance the digital wagering experience. Online and mobile betting will be offered throughout Arizona except on tribal lands.

“We are excited to collaborate with Plannatech to bring our wagering platform to a broader audience,” said Matt Olin, Chief Executive Officer of SCAGE. “This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision to set new standards in online wagering technology.”

“Our new partnership with Plannatech will allow the tribe to continue to benefit from online and mobile wagering,” said San Carlos Apache Tribe Chairman Terry Rambler. “Revenue generated will be used to help increase tribal investments in scholarships, public safety and social welfare on our reservation.”
