PALM SPRINGS, CA – Agua Caliente Casinos announced that its signature restaurant, The Steakhouse, has earned two Wine Spectator’s 2024 Awards of Excellence at both restaurant locations in the greater Palm Springs area. For The Steakhouse at Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage, this marks the 17th consecutive year with this honor. For The Steakhouse at Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs, in the heart of downtown, this earning marks their 20th consecutive year of winning this award. Both are being honored for their outstanding wine program in Wine Spectator’s 2024 Restaurant Awards, which celebrate the world’s best restaurants for wine.
Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence recognizes restaurants whose wine lists feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. The wine list at The Steakhouse in Rancho Mirage includes more than 300 selections and an inventory with more than 4,000 bottles. The full list is presented to guests on a tablet and sorts through by-the-glass and by-the-bottle offerings by name, price, or region. The Steakhouse in Palm Springs has over 1,000 bottles of inventory with 175 selections to choose from.
Both Steakhouse locations serve top tier cuts of prime beef and fresh seafood, led by Executive Chef Juan Morales and Executive Chef Brian Kenney. Every meat cut is hand-selected USDA prime that is specially aged for 21 days and seasoned with a special dry rub, ensuring that every bite will be unforgettable. Both chefs and their culinary team source local produce and use fresh seasonal ingredients to create an unforgettable gourmet cuisine experience.

In addition to this most recent honor, The Steakhouse in Rancho Mirage is a Forbes Four-Star restaurant and has earned a number of other accolades including AAA Four Diamond Award, the Palm Springs Life Best of the Best, and the OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award.
