Apache Nugget to Reopen Casino Near Cuba, NM

DULCE, NM – Apache Nugget Corporation will reopen its casino near Cuba, NM on February 14.

“Our Cuba casino was a popular community hub before the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to close,” said Tony J. Amormino, President and CEO of Apache Nugget Corporation. “We are thrilled to be back and better than ever, delivering the best experience and amenities this side of Las Vegas to the region. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Cuba.”

The Apache Nugget Travel Center & Casino is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 550 and State Highway 537, northwest of Cuba.

The Apache Nugget casino near Cuba will feature: 80 slot machines; electronic table game stations including blackjack, video poker, craps and baccarat; a race and sportsbook; Players Club; music and dining options. Additionally, the travel center offers a full convenience store, gas station and trucker’s lounge.

The community is invited to celebrate the reopening with Apache Nugget at a ceremony in the casino on February 14, beginning at 1:00pm. Dignitaries from the community, the Jicarilla Apache tribe and Apache Nugget will attend and speak.
