COARSEGOLD, CA – Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino has continued its support of non-profits throughout the Valley. Over the past two months, as part of its Chukchansi Cares program, Chukchansi Gold and its team members donated to multiple organizations including: the Animal Compassion Team, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California, Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area, Madera Coalition for Community Justice, National Alliance on Mental Illness Fresno, Turning Point of Central California, Valley Caregiver Resource Center, Central Valley Veterans and the Central California Blood Center.
Nearly 300 team members, family and friends also joined together to donate at a recent blood drive at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, enabling the Central California Blood Center to save 431 local lives as a result of the Chukchansi blood donations, while multiple other non-profits received monetary donations from the resort through its annual Chukchansi Cares fall initiative.
For the past several weeks, each of the below non-profits had the opportunity to participate in Chukchansi Gold’s Pyramid of Cash promotion to earn donations for their organizations. Donations totaled $32,950 and were distributed as follows:
- Animal Compassion Team ($4,700)
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California ($6,150)
- Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area ($6,050)
- Madera Coalition for Community Justice ($2,000)
- National Alliance on Mental Illness, Fresno ($2,000)
- Turning Point of Central California, Inc. ($2,000)
- Valley Caregiver Resource Center ($8,050)
- Central Valley Veterans ($2,000)
Chukchansi Gold’s Chukchansi Cares program donates thousands of dollars to local non-profit organizations every year, in total giving over $20 million in charitable dollars toward community benefit programs and initiatives.
