PORTERVILLE, CA – The Porterville Chamber of Commerce held its annual Installation and Awards Ceremony at Nuckols Ranch and Eagle Mountain Casino was awarded the “Large Business of the Year” award after being nominated by M3R Design.
“Eagle Mountain Casino has over 620 team members… and I am proud to be a part of that team,” said Matthew Mingrone, General Manager at Eagle Mountain Casino. “There are 60 team members that have been there at least 20 years… and it’s because of the way the Tule River Tribe treats us as people, not as numbers, not as staff, but as people.”
“We would like to congratulate all our winners and our nominees,” said Kristy Martin, CEO and President at Porterville Chamber of Commerce. “Each individual, business, and organization were all well deserving of this recognition. We deeply appreciate their contributions to our community and were glad we could play a part in honoring them.”
Each award winner received a certificate of recognition from the City of Porterville, County Supervisor District 5 – Dennis Townsend, Assemblyman Devon Mathis and State Senator Melissa Hurtado.
“We are in the people business and so is Porterville, so is the Chamber and so is each nominee. This is home because of the people,” said Mingrone.
