TUSTIN, CA – Registration is currently open for the 2024 Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention’s inaugural Chairman’s Golf Classic, which benefits tribal education. This year’s tournament will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course in Tustin, CA.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Native Forward Scholars Fund, the largest direct scholarship provider to Native students in the U.S. The organization awards approximately $15 million in scholarships annually and has awarded over $350 million since its founding.
This year’s Chairman’s Golf Classic will follow a “best ball” format and feature celebrity guest and pro golfer, Fred Funk. Funk will provide a putting demo at the clubhouse before tee off, assist each group with an “up and in” (wedge and putt) on the course, and pose for photos. Additionally, raffles and prizes will be awarded for longest drive (men’s and women’s), closest to the pin, and a hole in one $50,000 cash prize.
In addition, all players will receive a pre-event breakfast, an on-course box lunch and a post-round awards reception.
Those interested can register for a foursome for $4,000 (max of 36 foursomes). Sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations looking to align themselves with the event and showcase their support for the gaming community.
