“BWA’s goal is to be a trusted partner for Indian gaming operators, delivering designs that are both culturally sensitive and commercially successful. At IGA 2025, we look forward to discussing how we can help tribes achieve their vision.” – John Hinton, Director of Native American Projects, Bergman Walls & Associates
SPOTLIGHT: At IGA 2025, Bergman Walls & Associates (BWA) will showcase their comprehensive design services tailored specifically for the Indian gaming market. As a world-renowned casino and hospitality designer, BWA brings a unique blend of Las Vegas expertise and a deep respect for individual tribal sovereignty. BWA’s approach emphasizes a personalized design process, where they strive to create immersive experiences that authentically reflect local environment and culture, while maximizing client profitability.
BWA will be showcasing its wide-ranging capabilities across several key areas. In casino design, the firm delivers innovative gaming floor layouts and cutting-edge entertainment spaces that drive revenue and elevate the guest experience. Their expertise in hospitality design includes creating luxurious hotels, resorts, and amenities tailored to discerning travelers. Through master planning, BWA offers comprehensive services that address long-term vision and growth for tribal properties. A strong focus on cultural integration ensures that all designs authentically reflect tribal heritage and values by working closely with tribal leadership. Additionally, BWA brings a proven track record in renovation and expansion, helping to revitalize existing properties and enhance their potential,
profitability, and competitiveness.

SUCCESSES: BWA has partnered with multiple tribes, delivering successful projects that significantly enhance property offerings. An example is their ongoing collaboration with Thunder Valley Casino Resort. Most recently, BWA completed an expanded high-limit slot room, doubling the size of the previous high-limit area. That comprehensive project encompassed a poker and bingo room, designed with flexibility to adapt to varying uses; the property’s first high-limit room; lobby renovations; and a refreshed spa reception. Importantly, the original high-limit room BWA designed is now being repurposed to add valuable floor space to the main casino, demonstrating the firm’s adaptable design capabilities.
The success of these projects stems from BWA’s commitment to understanding the unique needs of tribal properties and delivering solutions that elevate the guest experience and drive value. BWA is also designing additional upgrades and changes to the Thunder Valley Casino Resort property through this and next year.

We’re also thrilled to introduce our Golden Image Sage Intacct environment.” – Grant Eve, Partner / Gaming & Tribal Government Leader, Wipfli

Additionally, Wipfli provides guidance on electric vehicle tax credits, alternative fuel infrastructure tax credits, and the Section 179D tax deduction for energy-efficient construction.

By leveraging these incentives, tribal casinos can significantly reduce their operational costs while promoting environmental sustainability. Wipfli’s team of specialized professionals work closely with clients to maximize eligible tax credits. Their expertise in navigating regulatory, policy, and tax changes ensures that clients can fully realize the benefits of energy tax credits and incentives. At the IGA show, Wipfli will highlight the application of energy tax incentives by tribal casinos to improve energy efficiency and sustainability efforts.

By aligning organizations with modern cloud-based technology, this solution ensures smooth transitions, enhances efficiency, and supports cutting-edge practices in the tribal
gaming sector.
