LAS VEGAS, NV – The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) has announced its 2025 Board of Directors.
In 2024, IGSA restructured its membership levels, seeing marked success in membership renewals and new members joining. After the election of IGSA’s new Board of Directors, the new Board met to select its Chair and Vice Chair. The members are as follows:
- Chair – Nimish Purohit, Aristocrat
- Vice Chair – Martin Pedak, Playtech
- Board Member – Spencer Peterson, Konami Gaming
- Board Member – Syed Hussain, Oregon Lottery
- Board Member – John McCaffrey, Umpqua Indian Development Corporation
The Board also welcomed back Paul Burns, a Board BOD member (retired/Atlantic Lottery Corporation) as an ex-officio officer and Treasurer for the organization.
“IGSA had a very successful 2024, and our new restructured membership has been met with a great deal of positive feedback,” said IGSA President Mark Pace. “The 2025 membership continues to expand, representing the breadth of the gaming industry. Our Board of Directors is similarly growing in diversity with supplier and operator members. Our continued focus on technology, partnering with other gaming organizations and working with regulatory authorities around the world for the benefit of the entire industry is a timely strategic direction. I look forward to welcoming more members and delivering tangible results this year.”
“2024 was a transformative year for IGSA,” said IGSA Chair Nimish Purohit. “I’m pleased with our tremendous progress, and I am grateful to my fellow board members in choosing me to lead the organization in 2025. Our committees are working on developing Standards and Best Practices in areas that are resonating with members and regulators alike. The participation in our Ethical AI, Cyber Resiliency and Payments committees has been incredible, and their output is already being discussed and used. I look forward to the output from a reinvigorated Responsible Gaming committee and the new Emerging Technology committee in 2025.”
