JACKSON, CA – The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians contributed $20,000 to the 2024 Matt Scott Racing/Amador County Sheriff’s Foundation holiday toy drive, helping to bring joy to families in need throughout Amador County this holiday season.
For 18 years, Matt Scott Racing and its team of “elves” have gathered and purchased toys to brighten the lives of Amador County youth. In partnership with the Amador Sheriff’s annual toy drive, they have successfully made holiday wishes come true for local children. With community needs still high, this year’s support is as crucial as ever.
“Jackson Rancheria has proudly supported this meaningful effort for several years, and we’re honored to sponsor this holiday toy drive once again,” said Crystal Jack, CEO of Jackson Rancheria. “The tribe is deeply committed to assisting our community in times of need, and we hope this contribution will help bring comfort and joy to many families this season.”
The holiday toy drive will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in front of Foothill Appliance in the Amador Shopping Plaza. Visitors can bring a new unwrapped toy for donation.
