OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) will host its 20th annual Red Feather Gala, a fundraising event, on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. This year’s gala marks two decades of support for OKCIC’s patients and also the clinic’s 50th anniversary of delivering healthcare to the American Indian community.

Guests will enjoy live art performances by three local Native artists, two dance competitions, and both silent and live auctions. Curating the sounds for the night will be the famous DJ Emcee One, the official DJ for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This year’s fundraiser is dedicated to providing OKCIC patients with the gift of hearing. Each year, the clinic refers around 100 patients for critical hearing services. Many of these patients require hearing aids, but the cost is often a barrier, as insurance typically doesn’t cover the expense. Funds raised through the gala will help ensure patients can access the hearing aids they need to live fulfilling lives.

“This year’s gala is crucial for securing funding for our hearing aid program,” said Robyn Sunday-Allen, CEO of OKCIC. “We invite all attendees and potential donors to support our mission. Our patients deserve equal access to quality healthcare, and the Red Feather Gala helps us bridge the gaps in the services we provide.”

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic was established in 1974 to provide excellent healthcare and wellness services to American Indians in Central Oklahoma. The clinic staff cares for more than 23,000 patients from over 220 federally recognized tribes every year. American Indians can receive a range of services, including medical, dental, pediatrics, prenatal, pharmacy, optometry, physical fitness, nutrition, family programs and behavioral health services.
