VERONA, NY – The Oneida Indian Nation has announced the grand opening of its fourth and largest Maple Leaf Market store, located in Verona, NY. Previously a SāvOn store, the new Maple Leaf Market store celebrated its grand opening with food tastings, prizes, giveaways, and raffles.
At 7,100 sq. ft., the new location in Verona is the Oneida Indian Nation’s largest convenience store and has expanded its offerings and amenities. The addition of an on-site kitchen provides guests with a selection of freshly prepared meals, pizzas, paninis, salads, soups and more, offered alongside food offerings from regional partners. Maple Leaf Market Verona also features Turning Stone Grab & Go meals, directly from the kitchens of Turning Stone’s award-winning restaurants, including Pino Bianco, Upstate Tavern, Tin Rooster, Emerald Restaurant and Peach Blossom.
Additionally, a new walk-in beer cave offers more than 75 different domestic and imported beers, including local brews, craft beer, and non-alcoholic options. Guests can also explore the in-store humidor and its collection of cigars from around the world.
The new Maple Leaf Market also features additional checkout counters, including new self-serve kiosks, to provide faster guest service. The on-site Dunkin’ and its drive-through have also been updated for more optimized traffic flow. The Verona location will also feature a 24-hour diesel station that allows easier access for trucks in addition to regular gasoline pumps.
The Oneida Indian Nation’s first Maple Leaf Market opened in Sherrill in November 2017, followed by the Chittenango store in February 2018 and the Sylvan-Verona Beach location in May of the same year.
