FORT HALL, ID – The Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel (SBCH) hosted fourth-grade students from the Blackfoot School District as part of a program to learn about the culture and history of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. The visit marked the first stop on their tour of the Fort Hall reservation, where students engaged in an immersive experience highlighting the traditions, heritage, and resilience of the tribal community.

The Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel also donated event center space to allow students to connect with tribal history. Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to learn about traditional customs and explore the significance of the land and its people.

“We are honored to support educational initiatives that bring awareness to the rich history of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes,” said Colista Matsaw, CEO at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. “By welcoming students to our property, we hope to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for the culture that has shaped this region for generations.”
