ARLINGTON, WA – The Stillaguamish Tribe has donated a combined $400,000 to Bender’s One Big Give radiothon, which goes to the uncompensated care fund at Seattle Children’s Hospital; and A Christmas Wish, which benefits low-income families in need in the Arlington and Darrington areas by providing parents the opportunity to shop for gifts for their children for Christmas.
“Our youth are our future, and we wanted more children to enjoy the joy and magic of the holiday season without the financial burden,” the Stillaguamish Tribal Board of Directors wrote in a statement. “We hope that our contributions to these organizations could provide a little hope and relief to families as they move into the new year.”
