Stillaguamish Tribe Donates $488,546 to Local Fire Departments

ARLINGTON, WA – The Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians presented three checks for a total of $488,546 to local fire districts to support their community. The donations were presented to Snohomish County Fire District #22 ($168,546), Island County Fire District #1 Camano Island Fire & Rescue ($170,000), and Skagit County Fire District #15 ($150,000).

The donations will fund initiatives at each department to help them better serve residents in emergency situations. The financial support will be utilized to purchase essential equipment, and improve overall response capabilities, ensuring that the communities are well-prepared for emergencies that may arise.
