LEMOORE, CA – Tachi Palace Casino Resort hosted its third community breakfast of 2025, bringing together more than 225 attendees for a morning of community engagement and charitable giving. The highlight of the event was the spinning of the Wheel of Giving by beneficiary, Valley Center for the Blind (VCB), which landed on the grand prize of $10,000. Tachi Palace Casino Resort will donate the full amount to support VCB’s mission of providing essential services to individuals who are blind or have low vision across the Central Valley.
“Our team at Valley Center for the Blind (VCB) is very grateful to have been included in the impactful work of Tachi Palace Casino Resort through their monthly community breakfast,” said Citlali Medina, VCB Outreach & Development Manager. “This $10,000 donation provides critical services that support, train, and employ people who are blind or have low vision across our Central Valley. Tachi Palace Casino Resort’s generosity makes these essential services available to the estimated 60,000+ people in our region who are blind or have low vision and seek support on their journey toward living and working more independently.”
“We are honored to support Valley Center for the Blind and their mission of empowering individuals with visual impairments,” said Catherine Montoya, Advertising Manager at Tachi Palace Casino Resort. “At Tachi Palace, we believe in strengthening our community by giving back to organizations that make a real difference. Seeing the Wheel of Giving land on $10,000 for such a deserving group was a truly special moment.”
