LEMOORE, CA – Tachi Palace Casino Resort hosted the 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Lemoore Golf Course benefiting Central California Food Bank. The day featured a welcome breakfast, and then local food and beverage vendors were stationed throughout the course. Over 148 golfers participated, consisting of local and non-local California Native American casino representatives and casino vendors. On the course, challenges included closest to the pin, longest drive, and guess the distance. The tournament concluded with a closing ceremony and raffle prize drawings.
“We are thrilled with the amazing turnout for our 20th anniversary annual golf tournament,” said Michael Olujic, General Manager of Tachi Palace Casino Resort. “All of the participants enjoyed themselves, as well as the opportunity to raise funds for a very worthy cause that helps our community.”
Central California Food Bank is the largest food bank in Central California serving Fresno, Madera, Kings, Kern and Tulare Counties. With the help of dedicated volunteers through 300+ partner feeding sites, they serve over 300,000 people each month. 46 million pounds of food was distributed to neighbors in need in fiscal year 2022.
