SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Talking Stick Resort is celebrating its 15th anniversary this April. Owned and operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), the resort has played a pivotal role in shaping the local economy, attracting tourism, and showcasing Native American culture. To mark the milestone, Talking Stick Resort will host a series of special events, promotions, and dining specials throughout the month.
“Talking Stick Resort has continually set the standard for gaming and hospitality in Arizona,” said Ramon Martinez, Director of Public Relations for Talking Stick Resort. “Through thoughtful expansions and innovative experiences, we have created an immersive destination for our guests while staying true to our cultural roots.”
Since opening in 2010, Talking Stick Resort has generated thousands of jobs and drawn businesses to the area, strengthening the local economy. The resort is also home to one of the largest contemporary Native American art collections outside of a museum, as well as a cultural center featuring works by members of the SRPMIC, offering guests a deeper insight into the tribe’s rich heritage.
“Talking Stick Resort has had a far-reaching impact on both the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and the greater Scottsdale area,” said Martinez. “Its success has allowed us to reinvest in programs that benefit our people while providing world-class entertainment and hospitality to our guests.”
Guests can enjoy a variety of anniversary specials and promotions, including: winning a Corvette, hot seat giveaways, special poker promotions, pull tabs, and dining specials.
“We are excited to celebrate this milestone by giving back to the guests who have supported us for the past 15 years,” said Martinez. “Their loyalty has fueled our success, and these events are our way of showing appreciation. We look forward to the next 15 years of unforgettable experiences.”
