VERONA, NY – On the heels of announcing its $370 million investment in the Turning Stone expansion, the largest expansion in the resort’s history, the Oneida Indian Nation is expanding its workforce to support this significant growth at Turning Stone and across all of its enterprises. In preparation for this growth and to accommodate the ongoing diversification of its business operations, the Oneida Indian Nation will be hiring for hundreds of new positions at the Turning Stone Hiring Expo on August 22, 2023.
Turning Stone announced it will open a new nightlife destination in December called NY Rec & Social Club (formerly LAVA Nightclub). Offering many new job opportunities, the entertainment venue will feature a unique lounge experience with modern amenities. The Turning Stone expansion will also include a new conference center that will double the resort’s existing convention and meeting spaces, a brand-new 250-room hotel, and new dining options from Turning Stone’s award-winning culinary team.
On August 22, candidates will be able to learn more about all of these new opportunities by visiting the Turning Stone hiring expo. The hiring expo will feature dozens of interactive booths staffed by current team members, offering job seekers opportunities to explore hundreds of exciting careers with the Oneida Indian Nation across: 23 different departments, 25 properties, four casinos, 25 restaurants, five hotels, five golf courses, two spas, two marinas, and 12 convenience stores.
After identifying jobs to apply for, candidates will then meet with hiring managers for on-site interviews. Qualified applicants will receive a job offer on-the-spot. Full- and part-time positions across the Oneida Indian Nation’s portfolio of hospitality, gaming and retail venues include:
