HIGHLAND, CA – Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel held its anticipated grand opening ceremony in Highland, CA for San Manuel Band of Mission Indians tribal citizens and invited guests. The ceremony opened with a performance by the San Manuel Bird Singers and featured special remarks by San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Chairman Ken Ramirez, members of the business committee and Yaamava’ Resort and Casino General Manager Peter Arceo.
Following the ceremony, the festivities featured a special 3D light show projected onto the new 17-floor hotel tower. The celebration wrapped up with a memorable live performance by Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Miguel.
The $760 million expansion of Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel is the latest addition to the tribe’s casino, marking the opening of its first onsite hotel. The 432-room resort features a 17-floor hotel tower with views of the San Bernardino Mountains, elevated pool deck experience with private cabanas, full-service spa and salon, more than 6,500 slots, five high-limit gaming rooms, entertainment, an array of dining options, multiple bars and lounges, luxe retail shops and a generous player’s reward program.
